We are quite proud to be the first property to feature a professionally designed championship-putting course. The 18-hole, par-72 course has been built to USGA standards and is a challenge for even the most advanced golfers.

The property also features two fully stocked trout ponds, perfect for fly fishing lessons, and equally suited for an afternoon of quiet relaxation for even the most seasoned fisherman.

The Big EZ Lodge Winter Activities
Transportation is provided to most off-site activities. In addition, most activities are included in our group pricing.

Downhill Skiing: 3,500 Skiable acres, and 4,350 vertical feet are only 30 minutes from The Big EZ Lodge. With a little notice, we can arrange for a private or group lesson.

Cross-County Skiing: Over 65 kilometers of groomed cross-country ski trails are available in Big Sky area. We are happy to arrange for lessons, equipment, and guided tours.

Fly-fishing: Yes, we fish all year. Guided river trips can be arranged for 1/2 day and full day outings.

Trail Rides: Horseback rides through the Big Sky backcountry are available for one, two, and three hour rides. Half-day and full-day trips may also be arranged.

Dogsledding: Explore the thrill of driving a sled dog team during a half or full day adventure. Advanced reservations are required for this activity.

Snowmobiling: Enjoy the beauty of the Gallatin National Forest and The Big Sky wilderness while traveling by snowmobile.

Snowshoing: Snowshoes are available at the lodge so you can explore the local wilderness.

The Big EZ Lodge Summer & Fall Activities
Recreation is provided both on-site, and off-site at The Big EZ Lodge. We will provide transportation to most of-site activities. In addition, most activities are included in our group pricing.

Fly-fishing: For on-site fishing there are two fully stocked trout ponds on the property, and lessons can be arranged.

Guided river fishing can be arranged for 1/2 day and full day trips. Full day drift boat trips are also available by advanced appointment.

Trail Rides: Horseback rides throughout the Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, and Gallatin National Forest are available for one, two, and three hour rides. Half-day and full-day trips may also be arranged.

Golf is available on our professionally designed 18 hole championship putting course. For a more traditional round of golf we can arrange a tee time on the Big Sky golf course. This Arnold Palmer designed course is open from about June 1 to October 10.

Hiking & Biking: Opportunities for hiking and mountain biking are available both on and off-site. Guide service is available for groups wishing to walk or bike for two hours or more. Advanced reservations are required for off-site guided trips.

Scenic Lift: Gondola rides are available at Big Sky Resort, which operates from about June 1 to October 1.

Rafting & Kayaking: Both float and whitewater rafting trips are available for half-day, and full-day outings. Kayaking lessons can be arranged for groups of three or more adults. The Big Sky rafting season runs from about June 10 to September 10.
