    Directions

    From Airport to Kananaskis Turnoff:
  • The exit from the airport leads onto Barlow Trail.
  • Continue on Barlow Trail 10 km to 16th Avenue West.
  • Turn right and follow 16th Avenue out of town.
  • (16th Avenue turns into the Trans Canada Highway #1)
  • Once on the Trans Canada Highway, follow straight (for about 30-40 minutes) to the Kananaskis
  • Trail/Kananaskis Country turnoff(Highway #40)
  • Turn left (south)

    From Banff:
  • Follow Highway 1 East from Banff to the Kananaskis Trail/Kananaskis Country turnoff (Highway #40)

    From Kananaskis turnoff to Village:
  • Continue south on highway #40 for approximately 25 km.
  • Turn right (west)
  • Follow road across bridge to Kananaskis Village sign (Approximate 1 km) and turn left.
  • **DO NOT GO UP THE HILL TO NAKISKA
  • Turn right at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis / Kananaskis Inn Sign
  • Follow road to the end and you will arrive at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis
