Day
1 Calgary to Banff
You will be met on arrival at Calgary International Airport and transferred
to Banff. Please be sure to advise your flight arrival details or Calgary
pre-stay accommodation details at the time of booking. Overnight in
Banff.
Day
2 Banff to Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer in Banff today as we travel through the
five mountain regions...the magic of the Canadian winter abounds! Travelling
over the Continental Divide you will pass through the Spiral Tunnels
in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement. Marvel
at the stunning glaciers, numerous tunnels, and snow-capped mountains
of Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Next pass historic Craigellachie,
where the "last spike" was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway
in 1885. The train will follow the shoreline of Shuswap Lake before
arriving in Kamloops. Dinner and holiday entertainment are included
this evening. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day
3 Kamloops to Vancouver
Continue your journey westwards from Kamloops onboard the Rocky Mountaineer
and travel along the Thompson River to the Fraser Canyon. At Hell's
Gate watch water torrent past the Canyon walls at its narrowest point,
a highlight of the Fraser River. Upon leaving the Fraser Canyon, the
train will journey through the fertile Fraser Valley to the city of
Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver.

4 Vancouver to Victoria
Today you will travel by motorcoach and B.C. Ferries through the Gulf
Islands to Victoria. This evening a tour takes you to Butchart Gardens,
illuminated with colorful lights and decorated for the festive season.
Enjoy the entertainment of musicians and carolers as you stroll throughout
the gardens. Overnight in Victoria.

5 Exploring Victoria
Today is free to explore this British style city on your own. Overnight
in Victoria.

6 Victoria to Seattle
Explore the capital city of British Columbia with a 90 minute city tour
this morning. Highlights include Antique Row, Chinatown, the Empress
Hotel, Beacon Hill Park and the beautiful Uplands & Oak Bay residential
areas. This evening a high-speed catamaran ferry takes you to Seattle.
Overnight in Seattle.

7 Depart Seattle
