Day
1 Vancouver Arrival
Arrive in Vancouver for an overnight stay.
Day
2 Vancouver to Victoria
Travel via motorcoach and B.C. Ferries through the Gulf Islands to Vancouver
Island and British Columbia's Capital City, Victoria. Enjoy a city tour
of this British style city including a visit to world-renowned Butchart
Gardens. Overnight in Victoria for four nights.

3-5 Exploring Victoria
Enjoy three free days to sightsee in Victoria on your own. This British
style city offers a wide variety of festive activities during the Christmas
season. Possible activities include a horse drawn carriage ride to view
the colorful light display around the Inner Harbour, the Empress Hotel
and its Festival of Trees, the Butchart Gardens Illuminated Lights tour
or a visit to some of Victoria's historic homes such as Craigdarroch
Castle and Helmcken House. During your stay in Victoria breakfast is
included daily. On Christmas day enjoy a festive dinner at your hotel.

6 Victoria to Vancouver
Return to Vancouver by motorcoach and ferry. Overnight in Vancouver.

7 Vancouver to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops in British
Columbia's interior. En route you will pass through the fertile Fraser
Valley and the Fraser Canyon. One of the Canyon's true highlights is
Hell's Gate where you will watch water torrent past the Canyon's walls
at its narrowest point. This is one of the canyon's true natural treasures.
Upon leaving the Fraser Canyon, the train will follow the Thompson River
to the city of Kamloops. Dinner and holiday entertainment are included
this evening. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day
8 Kamloops to Banff
Continue your journey eastward onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to the
Canadian Rockies and the mountain resort of Banff. First, you will travel
through vast ranchlands to Shuswap Lake before passing Craigellachie,
where the "last spike" was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway
in 1885. Beyond Craigellachie is Rogers Pass with tunnels, glistening
glaciers, and snow capped mountains. Before crossing over the Continental
Divide into Banff National Park, you will travel through the unique
Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement.
As we travel through the five mountain regions...the magic of the Canadian
winter abounds! Overnight in Banff.

9 Banff to Calgary
Transfer to downtown Calgary or the Calgary Airport where your tour
ends.
