A beautiful home in which to enjoy a wonderful holiday. Play golf or hike in the summer and ski in the winter.

Tucked away on a quiet street in the Town of Banff with views of the mountains, it is ideally situated for the golf courses, hiking trails, ski runs and also the individual shops and amenities of Banff.

Only a short walk away is the famous Banff Springs Hotel and Golf Course, local museums, bus and train stations.

This charming home has four bedrooms, a comfy alcove sitting area, two bathrooms and a wonderful living/dining room with custom made rustic country furniture throughout the home. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a front deck on which to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine on those magnificent Banff evenings.

 

Amenities

This home has a large comfortable living room with dining area. The furnishings include cozy country furniture with handsome accents.

Fully equipped kitchen includes: dishwasher; microwave; stove/oven; fridge/freezer; top quality china and glassware; coffee machine; cappuccino maker.

Dining area seats eight.  Cable TV in the main living room with VCR and CD player.

There are many maps, trail guides and books of the area. A secure equipment storage has been built outside the home for your use.

Bedrooms

The bedrooms have been individually designed to give an essence of tranquility with wonderfully comfortable beds and fine linen. All of the beds have feather duvets with hand made quilts.

The O’Hara Room (main floor) has a king size bed.

The Louise Room (main floor) has a queen size bed.

The main bathroom with footed bath tub is also on the main floor.

The Moraine Room (lower walkout level) has a queen size bed

The Emerald Room (lower walkout level) has two twin beds.

A second bathroom is located on this level plus there is a cozy alcove sitting/reading room.  The washer/dryer is also on the lower walkout level.  

Each of the bathrooms have hair dryers. 

At the front of the house is a deck with a Weber Gas BBQ and comfortable seating with an incredible panoramic view of the mountains.

From Calgary International Airport, it is approximately 90 minutes drive to Banff. All major airlines fly into this airport. Car rental agencies are within the terminal.

Arkle House is a non-smoking space.  No pets permitted.

4 night minimum stay required (except festive season when 6 night minimum required)

$1250 (US) /6 nights or $250 (US) /night

High Season

July - Sep;

Dec - Mar

$1800 (US) /6 nights or $350 (US) /night

Christmas & New Year's

$2500 (US) /6 nights

 

  • 50% deposit required on booking
  • Balance of rental due 30 days prior to arrival
  • Security, Damage & Incidentals Deposit - $500.00
  • Cancellation policy: 30 or more days prior to arrival - 1 night stay charged as penalty; 15 - 30 days prior - 50% of rental charged as penalty
  • Rates subject to 7% GST
