1 THURSDAY
Bozeman, Montana
Arrive at your leisure and
check into your Bozeman hotel. This evening,
join the welcome reception hosted by Montana
Rockies Rail Tours.
DAY
2 FRIDAY
Bozeman to Missoula, Montana Enjoy
continental breakfast before transferring
to the Livingston Depot Center. Tour the
historic train museum before boarding the
Montana Daylight
to begin your rail adventure. You'll
have a delicious lunch on board, accompanied
by the incredible landscapes of Montana.
On arrival in Missoula, take your carry-on
bag and transfer to your Missoula hotel
for your overnight stay. This evening, you're
welcome to join our walking tour to the
hand-carved Carousel for Missoula. (CB,

DAY
3 SATURDAY
Missoula to Sandpoint, Idaho
Your
second day of rail adventure! Relax
and enjoy as you travel through the heart
of the Rockies, passing through beautiful
landscapes of western Montana and northern
Idaho along the Clark Fork River. Have another
delicious lunch on board the train. Watch
for bald eagles as you travel along the
shores of Lake Pend Oreille to Sandpoint.
A short scenic coach ride takes you to your
hotel for your overnight stay (NOTE: You'll
take all luggage with you tonight). Tonight's
optional activities include dinner and shopping
in friendly Sandpoint. (CB, L)
 Day 4 SUNDAY
Sandpoint, Idaho to Missoula,
Montana
Transfer by coach back to
the train for your return trip to Missoula
and your overnight stay. Depending on rail
traffic, today's adventure may follow a
different route, paralleling the turquoise
waters of the Flathead River from Paradise,
Montana to Missoula. On arrival in Missoula
you'll take your carry-on bag and transfer
by coach to your hotel. Your evening is
free to explore Missoula's shopping and

DAY
5 MONDAY
Missoula to Bozeman, Montana
This morning you'll board the Montana
Daylight once again. Enjoy
a day filled with rugged mountains, historic
sights, spectacular trestles and crystal
clear streams en route to Livingston. Upon
arrival in Livingston, a short transfer
to the Bozeman hotel (not included) or airport
ends your tour. (CB, L)
SPECIAL
NOTE: Remember to pack an overnight
bag for your hotel stay in Missoula. Your
checked luggage will remain on the train's
securely-locked baggage car.
