TUESDAY Spokane, Washington Arrive in Spokane at your leisure and transfer to the WestCoast Grand Hotel. This evening, join the welcome reception hosted by your Montana Rockies Rail Tours representative.

WEDNESDAY Spokane to Kalispell, Montana After your continental breakfast, board your motorcoach and travel east to Wallace, Idaho. Tour the Northern Pacific Depot Railroad Museum and the infamous Oasis Bordello Museum. From Wallace, traverse Lookout Pass en route to St. Regis for lunch (on your own). Next, tour the Flathead Valley with a stop in Bigfork to explore this unique artist community. In late afternoon, arrive in Kalispell for your overnight stay. (CB)

THURSDAY Kalispell to East Glacier, Montana Start the day with continental breakfast, then board your motorcoach for a day of exploring Glacier National Park. A special touring van will take you over the Going-to-the-Sun-Road, among the world's most scenic drives. You'll cross the Continental Divide via Logan Pass, 6,680 feet. (NOTE: Tour takes an alternate route if Logan Pass is closed). Overnight at East Glacier. (CB)

FRIDAY East Glacier to Fernie, British Columbia After continental breakfast, depart for Waterton Lakes National Park in the Canadian Rockies (have your identification ready). You'll visit the famous Prince of Wales Hotel, then take a boat cruise (included) on Waterton Lake. After lunch in Waterton (on your own) you'll visit the park's bison enclosure. You'll stop at the Frank Slide Interpretive Center to view the massive landslide that occurred in 1903, then cross the Continental Divide once more. Arrive at the all-new Fernie Alpine Resort to spend the night. (CB)

SATURDAY Fernie to Sandpoint, Idaho After breakfast, board your motorcoach for Cranbrook. Visit the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel (included) and have lunch (on your own). Cross the international border back into the United States (have your identification ready) and arrive at your Sandpoint-area hotel for your overnight stay. Tonight's optional activities include dinner and shopping in downtown Sandpoint. (CB)

SUNDAY Sandpoint to Missoula, Montana After breakfast, transfer by coach to board the Montana Daylight and begin your rail adventure through the Montana Rockies. A delicious lunch is served onboard the train while you enjoy the scenery, watch for wildlife, and relax. Arrive in Missoula in late afternoon and transfer to your hotel. This evening, join our walking tour to the hand-carved Carousel for Missoula. (CB, L)

MONDAY Missoula to Livingston, Montana Continental breakfast is included at your hotel, then transfer back to the Montana Daylight to resume your rail journey. Today's route takes you through canyons, over spectacular trestles and beside the Missouri River. On arrival in Livingston, tour the historic Livingston Depot Center, then transfer to the Yellowstone Inn for your overnight stay. (CB, L)

TUESDAY Livingston to Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park After breakfast, your coach takes you to Gardiner, the north entrance into Yellowstone National Park. Pass through the historic arch, and continue to Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin and famous Old Faithful Inn to spend the night. (CB)

WEDNESDAY Old Faithful to Jackson Hole, Wyoming Following a full breakfast, continue your exploration of Yellowstone, then enter Grand Teton National Park. Enjoy a cruise on Jackson Lake (or alternate activity in case of low water level), then continue to the Colter Bay Visitor Center and explore the extensive Native American exhibit. Overnight in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. (B)

THURSDAY Jackson Hole to Salt Lake City, Utah After breakfast, board the motorcoach and depart for Salt Lake City. En route, travel through the beautiful Star and Cache Valleys, and pass Bear Lake. You'll have time for lunch (on your own). On arrival in Salt Lake City, enjoy the fabulous Temple Square Tour and then transfer to your hotel. (CB)

FRIDAY Salt Lake City After breakfast, transfer to Salt Lake City International Airport to end your tour. (CB)

SPECIAL NOTE This tour takes you across the international border between the United States and Canada. Remember to bring photo identification such as a passport or birth certificate - a driver's license alone is NOT sufficient for entry to Canada!

Remember to pack an overnight bag for your hotel stay in Missoula. Your checked luggage will remain on the train's securely-locked baggage car.
