1 VANCOUVER
Arrive in Vancouver for a two night stay.

2 VANCOUVER
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of this spectacular city.
DAY
3 VANCOUVER TO KAMLOOPS
Transfer (included) from your hotel to Pacific Central Station
to begin your rail adventure onboard the Rocky Mountaineer. Follow
the mighty Fraser River through the Coastal Mountains and past
Hell’s Gate, before it meets the Thompson River. Pass into the
desert belt of Canada before arriving in Kamloops for the evening.
Optional evening at Two River Junction Dinner and Musical Revue.
Breakfast and lunch onboard.
DAY
4 KAMLOOPS TO BANFF
Back onboard the Rocky Mountaineer, follow mountain streams and
rivers toward the Canadian Rockies. Travel through Rogers Pass,
over Stoney Creek Bridge, up Kicking Horse Pass and through the
Spiral Tunnels before arriving in Banff early evening. Transfer
(included) to your hotel. Overnight in Banff. Breakfast and lunch
onboard.
DAY 5 BANFF AND LAKE LOUISE
Today tour Yoho Park with visits to Emerald Lake and Lake Louise.
Overnight in Banff.

6 BANFF TO CALGARY
A morning tour of Banff and area includes a mountain gondola ride.
An afternoon transfer to downtown Calgary is included. Overnight
in Calgary.

7 CALGARY
Your Rocky Mountaineer Railtour ends with check-out from
your hotel.

West Bound
Day
1 Calgary Arrival
Arrive in Calgary and spend the rest of the day sightseeing in
the “Stampede City” independently. Overnight in Calgary.
Day
2 Calgary to Banff
Depart the Stampede City this morning for a tour to Banff. Highlights
include the Cave and Basin Centre, Banff Gondola, Bow Falls, Surprise
Corner, and the Hoodoos. The rest of the day is at leisure to
explore Banff on your own. Overnight in Banff.
Day
3 Yoho National Park tour
A tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural
wonders. Among the attractions are Lake Louise, the Spiral Tunnels,
Emerald Lake and a natural Rock Bridge that spans the Kicking
Horse River. Between June and September additional stops will
be made at Takakkaw Falls, picturesque Moraine Lake and the Valley
of the Ten Peaks. Overnight in Banff.
Day
4 Banff to Kamloops
Depart onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff for Kamloops,
the gateway to British Columbia’s interior. As the train crosses
over the Continental Divide you will pass through the Spiral Tunnels
in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement. Marvel
at the stunning glaciers, numerous tunnels, and snow-capped mountains
of Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. The next highlight of
today’s rail journey is historic Craigellachie, where the “last
spike” was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885.
As the train approaches Kamloops, it follows the shoreline of
Shuswap Lake. Overnight in Kamloops.
Day
5 Kamloops to Vancouver
Continue your journey westwards from Kamloops and travel along
the Thompson River to the Fraser Canyon. At Hell’s Gate watch
water torrent past the canyon walls at its narrowest point, a
true highlight of the canyon. Upon leaving this region, the train
will journey through the fertile Fraser Valley to the coastal
city of Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver.
Day
6 Vancouver Sightseeing
Enjoy a day’s sightseeing of Vancouver’s downtown core and the
spectacular North Shore. Among the highlights are Queen Elizabeth
Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park, Grouse
Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Vancouver.

Your tour ends with check out from your Vancouver hotel.
